The final of V de V Sports’ fifth season, the 2 Tours d’Horloge, the only race in the world reserved for Historic Competition Cars held over a period of 24 hours without interruption, will bring down the curtain on the 2025 season in a blaze of glory on the Paul Ricard circuit. With a raft of cars ranging from GTs to Sports Prototypes and Touring Cars already entered, the 19th edition of the 2 Tours d’Horloge promises to be an unforgettable spectacle!
Created by Eric Van de Vyver in 1992, this unique event brought together the best specialists in historic racing until 2014 before being paused. It was then reborn in 2021 and once again met with success. This year, this new concept of endurance racing dedicated to VHCs is once more attracting many teams from France and abroad, as evidenced by the provisional entry list.

Among them, let’s start with the current leader of the 2025 VHC V de V Endurance classification Armand Mille, winner of the first two races of the season, who will team up with Maxime Guenat, Yves Scemama and Erwin France at the wheel of the Chevron B21 prepared by Equipe Europe.
Tying for second place in the hierarchy, Julien and Didier Gruau will be at the helm of a Chevron B16 also entered by Equipe Europe. Eric Wassermann and Charles Veillard (Wassermann Racing) will defend their current 3rd place in their BMW 323 i.
In fourth place in the general classification we find the trio Vincent Delarche/Laurent Trichet/ Nicolas Grue who will team up at the 2 Tours d’Horloge with Thierry Lortal at the wheel of their Caterham Super Seven, thus demonstrating the competitiveness and reliability of a car run with a very reasonable budget. Completing the Top 5, the crew comprising Franck Thybaud/Patrick Brossard/Sébastien Chardonnet could also be in with a chance with their Jaguar Type E prepared by AB Sport Auto.
Among the favorites is the winning duo of the 2024 VHC Endurance Challenge, consisting of Damien Kohler and José Da Rocha in their Porsche 911 3.0 RS prepared by Team Bersi, as well as the Pascalou Racing team ready to do battle with three Porsches: A 930 Turbo for Pascal Duhamel/Sébastien Crubile , a 2.8 RSR for Philippe and Sylvie Duhamel and a 964 for the all-female crew of Michaela Etcheverry/Charlotte Lacoste.

A PACKED GRID!
Philippe Gache, a former multi-disciplinary professional driver (F3000, IndyCar, Touring, Endurance, Dakar, etc.), will also be at the start to join the battle for victory with teammates Monegasque rally driver Jean-Pierre Richelmi and his son Stéphane Richelmi (LMP2 champion in the World Endurance Championship in 2016 and LMP2 winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans the same year, LMP2 vice-champion in WEC in 2018 and 2019, LMP2 champion in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2017-2018) at the wheel of a Porsche 934/5 Turbo prepared by André Caruso.
The only squad currently with two crews in the Top 10, the Cudini Racing Team managed by Alain Cudini, former French Touring Car Champion with thirteen participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be fielding a Porsche 944 S2 for Arnold Noret/Jacques Colibet/ Philippe Vigneron. The Philippe Baert/Stéphane Moreau crew (9th in the general classification) will team up with Sébastien Morales in the Porsche 911 3.0 SC entered by GT Classic.
Other Porsches include the 964s from Hy Racing, CG Motorsport, Net’ Cuv Racing, Le Duigou Racing, Trajec Team Classic , CSP Le Mans, Simon Racing, Moderne Racing Team. As well as the Cup versions of Salewsky and the Vandewoestyne trio, the 911 3.0 SC of the RTT and FlatSix Le Mans Circuit teams, the 911 3.0 of Mansfeld plus the Skoal Bandit 944 Turbo and the 944 S2 run by RTT.

The Touring category is also rich in protagonists with the Team TH Austin Mini 1300, Team Giglio Racing’s Alfa Romeo GTAM, the Ford Mustang of WKMR and that of Atelier Mustang which will be driven by Jean-Pierre Gagick – host of the Auto Moto show broadcast on the TF1 channel – who was seduced by the concept of the event to the point of returning for the third consecutive year! Several BMWs will also be at the start like the 635 Super Production car run by Atlantic Racing, the 635 CSI of Chateaux Sport Auto, the Equipe Europe’s E30 and Sorg Rennsport’s 325i.
Another top-tier category of the 2 Tours d’Horloge is the one for Sport Prototypes, which will make up a large part of the starting grid with, in addition to the cars already mentioned, the Chevron B8 GT of “John of B” which should also be driven by Soheil Ayari, one of the most successful and eclectic French drivers still competing, with a total of 7 French championship titles (single-seater, Super Touring and Grand Touring), two European GT championship titles, one International Le Mans Cup title in LMP2, a Formula 3 World Cup victory in Macau, and 5 podiums in F3000. Also entered are Atlantic Racing’s Chevron B8, the Chevron B16s of Chateaux Sport Auto and Atlantic Racing’s B16 Bi-rotor, the Chevron B19 of the Cotes du Rhône Racing Team, the Equipe Europe’s Chevron B2, the Elva MK8 of Classic Garage and several Crosslé 9S- Zetecs. S2000 is represented by the Lola T598 from Racing & Classic, the March 81 S run by Equipe Palmyr which will also run a Tiga SC 79, Esprit Compétition’s Tiga SC 82 and Nigel Greensall’s SC 84. And finally, a Ligier JS2 entered by Jacques Nicolet who bought the brand, is also announced.

2 ASAVE GRIDS, THE LOTUS TROPHY AND THE CLUBS
While the 2 Tours d’Horloge will occupy a large part of the track time during the weekend, the two ASAVE (Association Sportive Automobile des Véhicules d’Epoque) grids, namely the ASAVE Racing 65 reserved for GT, Touring and Sports two-seaters (1600 cm³ max) prior to 66 and the ASAVE Racing 76 reserved for GT and Touring from 1966 to 1976, and Group 1 until 1981, will complete the meeting with the highly contested Lotus Trophy.
Classic and sports car clubs will once again be in the spotlight this year and will be able to take part in a large parade of clubs and collectors on the famous Paul Ricard circuit on Saturday November 1 from 11:45 to 12:05.
