V de V Sports 2024 Calendar

After a 2023 season crowned with success that comprised the V de V 6 Hours of the KENNOL Grand Prix de France historique, the 6 Hours of Barcelona and the 17th edition of the 2 Tours d’Horloge, V de V Sports is pleased to announce its 2024 calendar, which includes a unique meeting among the three dates on its programme.

The season will get under way on Saturday and Sunday 25 – 26 May with the 6 Hours of Navarra organised on the circuit of the same name located less than an hour’s drive from Pamplona, the capital of the Navarra region, an autonomous community in the north of Spain. It is one of the best circuits in the Iberian Peninsula with a 4-kilometre track homologated FIA Grade 1 and Grade 2 allowing it to host Formula 1 tests. Inaugurated in 2010, the circuit will be completely resurfaced during the winter. The first endurance event of the V de V Sports season reserved for historic racing cars will share the billing with a round of the ROSCAR GT Challenge. The first edition of the 6 Hours of Navarra will include a one-hour private testing session and one hour’s qualifying on Saturday followed by the race on Sunday from 10:30 to 16:30.

Seven weeks later, the teams will head for the Le Castellet circuit for the 6 Hours of Paul Ricard held on Friday and Saturday 5 – 6 July as part of a meeting which will also host the F4 Spain, EUROCUP 3 and the RADICAL CUP fields. A one-hour private practice session is scheduled for Friday followed by qualifying (1 hour) and the race on Saturday from 18:45 to 00:45.

Finally, the curtain will fall on the V de V Sports season on 1-2-3 November with the 18th edition of the 2 Tours d’Horloge. This event is the only competition in the world reserved for historic racing cars run over a period of 24 hours without interruption. It was resurrected in 2021 by its creator Eric Van de Vyver, who is now associated with his daughter Laure in the organisation of this race that’s unique in the world. With a rich calendar of three events in 2024 which will give rise to a final classification, V de V Sports wishes to meet the expectations of the many teams and competitors who love this type of racing.

These three events are open to GT/Touring cars (until 1990), Sports Prototypes (until 1976) and Sports 2000s (until 1986). The regulations are identical to those of the 2 Tours d’Horloge: slick tires are forbidden and crews are composed of 2, 3 or 4 drivers in order to form the same team throughout the 2024 season.
