Challenge Funyo V de V

« Hériau, Hériau et Hériau… Fils ET Père ! »
Auteur de son meilleur week end de la saison, François Hériau assoit un peu plus son avance au Challenge en remportant trois courses haut la main ! Fontbonne, son dauphin au classement, signe de meilleurs résultats qu’à Lédenon mais accuse désormais un retard de 84 points. Bompart, pour son deuxième week-end de la saison signe d’excellents résultats.

Comme écrit ci-dessus, chaque course aura été dominée par Hériau. François de son prénom. Il aura signé le meilleur tour en course à chaque fois, et aura remonté tout le peloton lors de la première course suite à un tête à queue. Chapeau !

Son père Serge n’est pas en reste. S’il laisse la deuxième marche à Olivier Bompart lors de la première course, il la brigue pour les deux suivantes.

Fontbonne ne peut faire mieux que quatrième durant ce week-end. Orhant aura monté en puissance lors du week-end et finit sur le podium lors de la course 3, derrière la famille Hériau.

Dannielou n’est pas en reste. Malgré un accrochage, il finira toujours dans les six premiers.

Julien Neveu, marque de bons points après son absence à Lédenon. Il fera sixième, quatrième et neuvième.

Challenge Monoplace V de V

« A dominance Palmyr »
Vainqueur des deux premières courses de ce week-end Jean-Michel Ogier prend la tête du Challenge Monoplace devant Michel Mora trop peu performant ce week-end. Faggionato et Haezebrouck, coéquipiers en Endurance Proto l’an dernier se placent à tour de rôle sur le podium lors des trois courses. Parti dernier lors de la troisième course, Zollinger l’emporte.

Un week-end Palmyr décidément. Toujours aux avant-postes, ne ratant pas un podium, l’équipe nîmoise a dominé les trois courses du Challenge Monoplace. Même son « pilote maison » roulant chez TFT pour la dernière du week-end, gagne en partant dernier.

Matthew Drapper l’anglais se place deuxième lors de la course 2 et ne finit jamais plus loin que quatrième. Haezebrouck gagne la cinquième place du Challenge à égalité avec Dallet et deux points devant Faggionato.

L’équipe GTRO aura malheureusement moins briller ce week-end ne parvenant pas à poser un seul de ses pilotes sur le podium. Mais ils occupent la deuxième place du Challenge grâce à Michel Mora.

V de V Funyo Challenge

“Hériau, Hériau and Hériau… Father AND Son!”
Achieving his best weekend of the season, François Hériau extended his lead in the Challenge a little further by winning three straight races! Fontbonne, his heir apparent in the standings, managed better results than at Lédenon but still trails by 84 points. Bompart scored excellent results for his second weekend of the season.

As mentioned above, each race was influenced by a Hériau. Named François. He set the fastest lap in each race, and fought his way up through the entire pack in the first race after a spin. Hats off!

His father Serge wasn’t just sitting around. Although he couldn’t quite take second from Olivier Bompart in the first race, he went for it in the next two.

Fontbonne couldn’t do better than fourth this weekend. Orhant seemed to have found something extra over the weekend and finished on the podium for race 3, behind the Hériau family.

Dannielou wasn’t to be outdone. Despite a collision, he finished each race in the top six.

Julien Neveu, scored points after his absence at Lédenon. He came sixth, fourth and ninth.

V de V Single-seater Challenge

“Palmyr dominates”
Winner of the first two races of this weekend, Jean-Michel Ogier took the lead in the Single-seater Challenge ahead of Michel Mora, who just couldn’t find the performances this time. Faggionato and Haezebrouck, teammates in Proto Endurance last year both took a turn on the podium. Starting from the back in the third race, Zollinger came through to win.

Without doubt, a Palmyr weekend. Always in the action, never missing a podium, the “Nîmes Team” dominated all three Single-seater Challenge races. Even their “house driver” competing for TFT in the last race of the weekend, won from last place.

Englishman Matthew Draper took second place in race 2 and was never further back than fourth. Haezebrouck won equal fifth place in the Challenge with Dallet two points ahead of Faggionato.

The GTRO unfortunately failed to shine this weekend, failing to place a single one of its drivers on the podium. But they are in second place in the Challenge thanks to Michel Mora.

L’épreuve du Paul Ricard HTTT marque la mi saison pour tous les Challenges V de V. Avec des plateaux garnis tant en quantité qu’en qualité, les pilotes s’en donneront à cœur joie pour accéder aux places d’honneur et marquer des points pour bien figurer en fin de saison.

Challenge Funyo V de V

« Trois courses, Trois chances »
La quatrième étape de la saison promet encore de belles bagarres dans le peloton des Funyo et permettra d’imaginer les prémices d’un classement final. A moins que le doute ne persiste, et notre plaisir avec !

Après avoir tiré son épingle du jeu à Lédenon, François Hériau prend le large en tête du Challenge et fera tout pour garder cette place jusqu’à la fin de la saison. Derrière, Jacques Fontbonne devra figurer aux places d’honneur au Paul Ricard s’il veut remonter sur ce dernier. Erick Tomaszeck voudra faire triompher son écurie favorite, Wintec, face à Yves Orhant, à la troisième place provisoire.

Cette dernière sera également représentée par Pascal Desmoulin, auteur de beaux résultats à Lédenon, ainsi que par Jean-Christophe Lavillette et Julien Neveu, de retour, en sixième position au Challenge.

Chez MSI, c’est Marc-Antoine Dannielou qui voudra montrer à nouveau son savoir-faire et visera cette fois la plus haute marche du podium. Il aura à faire aux pilotes HMC, tels que Xavier Cousin, Patrice Pelissier, Serge Hériau, tous trois dans le top 10 du classement provisoire.

Challenge Monoplace V de V

« Un Challenge étoffé : Une concurrence accrue »
Didier Dallet, seul pilote à avoir toujours terminé dans les points depuis le début de saison, mérite bien sa place en tête du Challenge grâce à sa régularité. Mais la saison n’est pas finie et ses adversaires se montreront hargneux pour la gloire.

Les pilotes de l’écurie Palmyr se sont régalés à Lédenon et reviennent avec des rêves de victoire plein la tête. Ainsi, Jean-Michel Ogier, Philippe Haezebrouck et Marc Faggionato auront fort à faire pour accéder au podium face aux pilotes GTRO.

L’écurie paloise alignera six Formule Renault 2.0, avec Hervé Cordel, Michel Mora, Olivier Guerin, tous trois dans le top 5 à la dernière épreuve. Mais aussi, Loïc Martinez, Hervé Clément et Philippe Simon.

Jacques Médard et Robin Palmer, respectivement deuxième et troisième du Challenge, essaieront de faire trébucher le leader, Didier Dallet.

Enfin, l’écurie britannique Antel Motorsport revient avec ses deux jeunes pilotes, Jake Rattenbury et Matthew Draper, pour espérer l’emporter.

The Paul Ricard HTTT event marks the mid-season for all V de V Challenge races. With top contenders and lots of them, drivers will be going flat out to be up amongst the winners and score valuable points for the end-of-season ranking.

V de V Funyo Challenge

“Three races, three chances”
The season’s fourth stage promises some more exciting scraps amongst the Funyo field and should lay the premises for the final standings. But no-one will be complaining if the final outcome remains uncertain.

After coming through thick and thin at Lédenon, François Hériau extended his lead in the Challenge and will do all he can to hold onto the top spot through to the end of the season. Behind him, Jacques Fontbonne will have to do very well at the Paul Ricard to have any chance of overhauling the leader. Erick Tomaszeck will be looking to have his favourite team Wintec come out a winner over Yves Orhant, provisionally in third place.

Wintec will also be represented by Pascal Desmoulin, who came away from Lédenon with some fine results, and by Jean-Christophe Lavillette and Julien Neveu, back in the race and currently sixth in the Challenge standings.

At MSI, Marc-Antoine Dannielou will be wanting to show off his driving skills and be aiming for top spot on the winner’s podium. He will have his work cut out, vying with drivers such as Xavier Cousin, Patrice Pelissier and Serge Hériau, all three presently ranked in the top ten.

V de V Monoplace Challenge

“A tough challenge, tough competition”
Didier Dallet, the only driver to have finished amongst the points since the beginning of the season, deserves his top spot in the Challenge on account of his consistency. But the season is not over yet and his opponents will be keen to get their hands on the winner’s trophy.

The Palmyr team drivers had a great time at Lédenon and can seriously dream of winning the whole event. Meaning that Jean-Michel Ogier, Philippe Haezebrouck and Marc Faggionato will have their work cut out if they want to climb onto the winner’s podium ahead of the GTRO drivers.

The team from Pau will enter six Renault Formula 2.0 cars with Hervé Cordel, Michel Mora and Olivier Guerin, all three in the top 5 at the last event. Not forgetting Loïc Martinez, Hervé Clément and Philippe Simon.

Jacques Médard and Robin Palmer, respectively ranked second and third in the Challenge, will set out to topple the leader Didier Dallet.

Last but not least, the British team Antel Motorsport is back with its two young drivers Jake Rattenbury and Matthew Draper, with high hopes of winning the event.
